The sequel to the acclaimed Wind River Secrets is finally in production. The film, written and directed by award-winning Taylor Sheridan, was a great success upon its release in 2017 and fans can’t wait to find out what will happen in Wind River 2. The first chapter follows the investigation into the murder of a young woman on the Wind River Native American reservation in Wyoming. Hunter Corey Lambert, played by Jeremy Renner, helps FBI agent Jane Banner, played by Elizabeth Olsen, solve the mysterious case.

The second chapter, entitled Wind River: the next chapterwill be written by Patrick Massett and John Zinman, and produced by Matthew George for Castle Rock Entertainment and Acacia Filmed Entertainment.
The plot will follow new investigations following a series of ritual murders on the reservation. For help this time he is called Chip Hanson, played by US Fish & Game new recruit Martic Sensmeier. Chip, already appeared in the first chapter.

It was recently announced that other notable names will join the cast of Wind River 2. Among them we find Jason Clarkestar of the HBO series Winning time – the rise of the Lakers dynasty, famous for movies like First man, Zero Dark Thirty and Everest, and part of the cast of Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan, as revealed by the first official trailer.
In the new cast there will also be Scott Eastwoodappeared in I want you back alongside Charlie Day, Jenny Slate and Gina Rodriguez, and in The outpost with Caleb Landry and Orlando Bloom. We will see it soon also in Fast X and in April 29, 1992. Another addition is also Chaske Spencer. We’ve already seen the actor opposite Emily Blunt in the award-winning primetime miniseries The English and in Wild indiansalso making an appearance in Jessica Jones And Sneaky Pete. Among his new projects we find not only Wind River but also the Marvel series Echo.
