Here’s who will perform at the 2023 VMAs

The Nicki Minaj-hosted evening, which risks becoming Swift-centric (Taylor is up for 10 awards), will be a welcome distraction.

The next edition of the VMAs is scheduled for September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This year’s host will be Nicki Minaj, who has already hosted the 2022 ceremony. Taylor Swift will again take home the most nominations, as she risks accumulating prizes by choosing 10 possible statuettes. They are followed by Blackpink, Nicki Minaj and SZA with 6 and – to cap off a glorious year for women in the music business – Shakira, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat and Miley Cyrus with 5.
