The next edition of the VMAs is scheduled for September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This year’s host will be Nicki Minaj, who has already hosted the 2022 ceremony. Taylor Swift will again take home the most nominations, as she risks accumulating prizes by choosing 10 possible statuettes. They are followed by Blackpink, Nicki Minaj and SZA with 6 and – to cap off a glorious year for women in the music business – Shakira, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat and Miley Cyrus with 5. Italy will continue to be represented by Måneskin (which triumphed in 2022 victory). in the category “Best Alternative Video” with I want to be your slave), which this year received two nominations for “Best Group of the Year” and “Best Rock Video” with the loneliest.
Måneskin themselves will perform in an evening full of performances, which will also include performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Anitta and Shakira. Below is the list of performances:
