HHN Haunted House Stranger Things beautifully recreates iconic scenes from Season 4.

Stranger Things is back for Halloween Horror Nights, and this time Universal Orlando Resort has perfectly recreated iconic scenes from season four. The original Netflix series has already shown several times in both Hollywood and Orlando, adapting seasons 1-3 for haunted houses. And given the show’s ever-increasing success since Season 4 debuted in May 2022, it wasn’t much of a surprise when Universal announced Stranger Things would be back in its haunted house lineup.

Since Vecna is the series’ new big villain, he’s naturally the top threat in this year’s Stranger Things haunted house. While trying to escape Vecna, park goers relive some of season four’s most famous scenes, including Chrissy Cunningham’s death in Eddie Munson’s trailer, Eleven’s fight with Henry Creel, and Dustin and Eddie’s final showdown with demobats, to name but a few. Some images of the Stranger Things house in Orlando can be seen below.

Most of the haunted houses in franchise-based Halloween Horrors introduce members to their IP’s most popular scenes, but Universal managed to make Stranger Things 4 a completely immersive ride from start to finish. The haunted house benefited from the presence of actors who actually looked like Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Joseph Quinn, Jamie Campbell Bower and other Stranger Things actors. The technology used to transform Henry Creel into Vecna and the video panels for the demo sequence of the haunted house were also particularly impressive and made it really feel like you were in a scene with the characters.

You can see that Universal has paid incredible attention to detail in creating every aspect of this home, so much so that even Netflix was surprised by the appeal of Stranger Things 4 elements. Since its inception, the series has won a huge audience of fans. In 2016, many will likely come to Halloween Horror Nights just to see these characters live. The studio had to take this into account, and it explains why the costumes, sets, makeup, and everything else that makes a haunted house creepy is done so well at this year’s event. This particular house will have some of the longest waiting times of all Halloween Horror Nights, but luckily Universal Orlando’s Stranger Things house doesn’t disappoint.
