The Neuquén Public Health System carried out the first genital modification intervention together with a specialized team from the province of Santa Fe that, at the same time, trains local surgery personnel, within the framework of Law 26,743 on Gender Identity, informed the provincial government.

This is the first of four interventions scheduled in the Neuquén Provincial Hospital (HPN) to modify the body based on self-perceived gender identity.
