A question of priorities

Sources on the site say that after the strike ends, priority will be given to projects that require short sessions of additional filming or dubbing, such as: Kraven the Hunter. Then it will be the turn of films with almost completed shooting, such as Beetlejuice 2, which was a couple of days away. Only then will studios be able to get pre-production films back on track.
The reason is to avoid the fact that, as after Covid-19, Hollywood does not have enough films to show in cinemas.
The problem of actors
The production shutdown has created a churn in actors’ plans that will make reboots especially difficult and could lead to stars pulling out of films or TV series.
“In terms of contractual obligations, there is no precedent for which films should take priority.– one manager commented. For example, an actor or director may be forced to promote a certain film and then have trouble filming another project.
Rachel Zegler for example, he may find himself stranded between extra takes snow White and promotion The Hunger Games: The Tale of the Nightingale and the Serpent. Upcoming films

Movies postponed
Films that were not yet in production before the strike or were in early stages of production will likely be delayed until 2024.
