James, 38, is currently the oldest active player in the NBA and a four-time championship winner.

But in his high school years, Jordan was the king of basketball.

Chicago Bulls legend Jordan transcended the sport, winning six NBA championships and becoming a global superstar.

James and Jordan first met in 2002, when LeBron was a sophomore at St. Vincent-St. Louis. Marie High School in Akron, Ohio.

lebron told uninterrupted Podcast, “When I first met Michael Jordan, I couldn’t believe it was him.

“To me, this guy looks like Jesus Christ. He looks like Black Jesus.

“No one could tell me anything different.”

The first meeting between James and Jordan also opened up a brave new world – the gym.

He continued, “They took us to basketball (in Chicago).

“Before the competition, they said ‘Mike always liked lifting weights’.”

“So we walked up the stairs and no one told me that Mike was lifting before the game. I didn’t know anything about it at the time, I was a sophomore in high school.

“Mike was sitting on the bench and I was like ‘Oh my God!’

“I don’t think he’s a real man, you don’t understand. I just think he lives in television.

“If that guy up there had taken me that day, I would have lived a hell of a life.”

LeBron is currently nursing an ankle injury and missed Tuesday’s loss to the crosstown rival Clippers in Los Angeles.

James averaged 24.8 points per game this season, becoming the scoring leader in NBA history.
