Millie Bobby Brown’s life before and after Stranger Things
Actress Millie Bobby Brown is known for her role as a girl with telekinetic powers in the horror detective series. Stranger Things. The actress made her big breakthrough in the role, reprising it for three more seasons and is set to return for the fifth and final season.
Bobbi Brown became the star of the series and was warmly welcomed by the industry for her powerful performance. Despite starring such heavyweights as Winona Ryder and David Harbour, Bobby Brown still stood his ground and was described by Variety as having “the kind of presence that some actors take a lifetime to acquire.”

She began her career at the age of eight, and her family moved from England to Florida to help her pursue her dream of becoming an actress. During this time, the family fell on hard times as the roles and modeling contracts that Bobby Brown was receiving at the time were not enough to keep them afloat. She spoke about this in an interview with the Daily Mail.
“My older sister left. She didn’t want to do it anymore (America). There were tears, tears, tears. We went through difficult times… I was devastated. I didn’t get a job. I thought I was done.”
However, the actress soon got the opportunity to audition for Stranger Things and got the role. The family returning to England had to return immediately.

Millie Bobby Brown was a studious child
Millie Bobby Brown has come a long way since starring in the Netflix series when she was twelve. Although she is still nineteen, she already has many achievements. She starred in two more Netflix films: Enola Holmes franchise for which she was reportedly paid $10 million, making her one of the highest paid actresses. She’s about to release her book Nineteen steps and also opened her own line of cosmetics called Florence by Mills.
When asked if she would ever go to college and get a degree, Millie Bobby Brown answered “no” and said that she never got used to the school system because she began homeschooling at age eight. She stated this in an interview with Heart Radio.
“My fiance (Jake Bongiovi) did it. You know, he went to college. I just couldn’t imagine it… I mean, I dropped out of school and was homeschooled when I was eight years old. So I’m really not used to that level of socialization.”
She also noted that she was a very diligent and disciplined child in class. Imitating myself, like Emma Watson’s Hermione Granger Harry Potter series Bobbi Brown noted that she will always be attentive in class. She said,
“I didn’t like kids at school who were distracting the class. I was one of those kids who said, “Everybody focus on the teacher.” That’s why I like to learn on my own.”
