The film was entered into competition at the 2022 Venice Film Festival and was awarded the Silver Ribbon for the theme by Emanuele Crialese. Rome, 1970s: A world suspended between under construction neighborhoods and still black and white options, social advances and outdated family models. Clara and Felice have just moved into a new apartment. Their marriage has come to an end: they no longer love each other, but they cannot let go. Only children can keep them together, on whom Clara pours out all her desire for freedom.
