Like “Barbie,” the genre of adaptations of popular films is in vogue this year, because the satire directed by Greta Gerwig is not even very interesting, but is also incredibly good. However, Barbie, in a mild way, is not the first person to make the leap to film. After the huge success of Transformers, G.I. Joe was also set to hit the canvas in 2009, but the success was only moderate in G.I. Joe – Origin of Cobra.

In GI Joe 2, the elite troops were nearly wiped out by enemies from the secret organization Cobra after they were captured or controlled by Casa Branca. Some of the more notable Joes include Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Flint (DJ Cotrona) and the lovely Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki). We turn to the US to continue the fight against Cobra as ninja Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and his partner Jinx (Elodie Yung) are on the trail to Japan.
