IMSS confirms four deaths of medical staff


The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) reported the death of Walberto Reyes, a medical specialist in Emergency Medical Covid-19, who worked at the General Hospital of Zone number 7, in Monclova, Coahuila. This is the fourth death from the novel coronavirus among health personnel at the IMSS.

Through a press release, the institute stated that in follow-up to the protocols established for the care of the new coronavirusthe direct contacts of the man who had 45 years, are in the observation home.

Yesterday, at a press conference, it was reported that at the IMSS, there are 39 confirmed cases Covid-19 and three deaths and there is no evidence that the death occurred by occupational exposure.
