In Chetumal, SESA begins intensive vaccination days

Chetumal, Q. Roo.- Starting today, Monday, September 4th, until Friday, September 8th, intensive vaccination days for children, adolescents, the elderly, and pregnant women will be carried out under the slogan; For the health of you and your family, please vaccination!

The campaign will be carried out by the Quintana Roo State Health Secretary (SESA) in Chetumal, with the aim of protecting people from preventable diseases.

From 8 am to 2 pm, SESA staff will administer the vaccine at the National Vaccination Center on Avenida Maxuxac, between Chetumal 4 de Marzo and Miguel Aleman.

SRP (Measles, Rubella and Mumps), Pneumonia 13V, Rotavirus, TDPA and Hexavalent vaccines (protects minors against Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Haemophilus influenzae, Hepatitis B and Polio ) dose. The 13-valent pneumococcal vaccine, against pneumococcus, is suitable for those 60 years and older. Pregnant women get the TDAP vaccine (helps protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) starting at the 20th week of pregnancy.
