The Cinema in Festa initiative returns with €3.50 tickets. Here are some films not to be missed!
Second summer edition party cinema, the opportunity to watch movies in the cinema at a special price. The initiative is being promoted by Anika and Anek with the support of MiC and in collaboration with David di Donatello, the Italian Film Academy.
Cinema in festa is a project launched in 2022 (and which will last until 2026), in which every year, in June and September, for 5 days (from Sunday to Thursday) the ticket will cost only €3.50 for all films.
Second Edition Starts Sunday June 11th and ends Thursday June 15th with news of the week. The list of cinemas participating in the initiative will soon be available on the official website.
Inspired by the French Fête Du Cinéma, the project was born from a collaboration between distributors and cinemas to guarantee Italian audiences a twelve-month cinema season. The first episode of September 2022 drew 1.15 million viewers and this year the initiative is part of Cinema Revolution – Che Spettacolo L’Estate, a MiC-backed campaign to turn summer 2023 into movie and promotional season.

Among the films that arrived in our cinemas in June (or have already been released, but the screenings of which will continue with the start of the promotion), we find a blockbuster at the moment Quick X, the tenth chapter of the automotive saga led by Vin Diesel and new villain Jason Momoa. Among the most anticipated films are renfield, a film by Chris McKay starring Nicolas Cage’s Dracula. How can we not mention the Disney remake de Mermaid which, among various fan criticisms of the character designs, is highly regarded by international critics.
The long-awaited animated film will also hit theaters in June. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse from Sony Pictures, the sequel to the Oscar-winning movie starring Miles Morales’ Spider-Man (and many more). Also on the list kidnapped Marco Bellocchio presented at this Cannes Film Festival, French comedy Peter von Kant AND Breath of the Forest. For horror lovers there will be programming boogeymanand Hasbro is for robot lovers Transformers: Awakening. The highly anticipated DC and Warner Bros. Flashstarring Ezra Miller and the great Batman return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.
Also in cinemas is a mysterious psychological thriller sanctuary; shark teetha film by Davide Gentile with Claudio Santamaria and Edoardo Pesce; Dalilandin which Ben Kingsley plays Salvador Dali, an action movie Mindcage – Criminal Mind with John Malkovich, Martin Lawrence and Melissa Roxburgh; To be and to have; All dogs die alone; Polite Society; Olga; Beware, spoilers; Two weddings at the same time; Van Dormel – Toto Le Heros; There’s still a suitcase on the bed; animated film for the whole family Blue and Flippy AND Sampleswith Woody Harrelson.
