Battle Day Synopsis
The film is about a once-famous boxer who embarks on a redemptive journey through his past and present on the day of his first fight since his release from prison.
Houston
As an actor, Houston will star alongside Nicole Kidman in the upcoming Amazon Expats series, a film adaptation by Janice Y.K. Li’s novel, directed by Lulu Wang (The Farewell). Also appears in the new upcoming AMC series Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice (January 8). He recently appeared opposite Lady Gaga on House of Gucci and played Richard Harrow on the award-winning HBO series Boardwalk Empire. Pitt played the role of Jimmy Darmody in this series. Both Houston and Pitt shared SAG Drama Series wins for this show. Houston is the grandson of the late director John Huston, who directed such classic films as The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Key Largo, Concrete Jungle, The Maltese Falcon and The African Queen.

Joe Pesci is a three-time Oscar nominee for The Irishman, Raging Bull and Best Supporting Actor for The Goodfellas. He is the star of the Home Alone and Lethal Weapon franchises.
Michael Pitt
Michael Pitt has starred in Seven Psychopaths, Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers, Funny Games, and the Apple TV+ series Lisey’s Story. It was recently announced that Pitt will star in Black Flies, a dramatic thriller starring Sean Penn and Ty Sheridan, from director Jean-Stephan Sauveur. We’ll soon see him in the Netflix thriller Reptile alongside Benicio Del Toro and Justin Timberlake for Black Label Media.
