The organization, which has been working throughout the national territory since 2013 together with more than 40 partner organizations in 20 provinces and which accompanies more than 30,000 people living with HIV in Argentina, seeks to achieve the goal that 90% of people living with HIV know their diagnosis.

In addition, Pedrola emphasized the importance of continuing to work hard on political advocacy so that the draft of the new HIV law that is in the Chamber of Deputies takes parliamentary status and that it does not lose parliamentary status; necessary law to improve the quality of life and care of all people with HIV and of the community in general.

For her part, the Director General of Coexistence in Diversity, Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Natasha Steimbreg, extended the congratulations and greetings from the Undersecretary of Human Rights and highlighted: “We want to seal the commitment to work together with AHF Argentina in the comprehensive care of people with HIV. For the City of Buenos Aires it is a privilege to have a space like this where we can ensure equality in accessibility to early detection, treatment and comprehensive support of people ”.

Present at the opening ceremony were: Claudia Podroznik, National Directorate for Communicable Disease Control of the National Ministry of Health; Natasha Steimbreg, General Director of Coexistence in Diversity, Government of the City of Buenos Aires; Rocio Maciel, General Director of Human Rights of the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires; Lorena Matzen, National Deputy; Dr. Sergio Maulen of UNAIDS and representatives of National Non-Governmental Organizations that work jointly with AHF Argentina throughout the country facing different challenges and objectives in the response to HIV.

The Community Center for Sexual Health – located in San Martín 899 (CABA) – will attend from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To request appointments, call 11 5885 3333.
