British actress Barbara Shelley has died at the age of 88. This was stated by the agent of the actress Thomas Bowington.
The actress died after contracting COVID-19, presumably in one of the hospitals where she came for examination. Shelley was hospitalized for two weeks before Christmas.
“Most likely, COVID-19 will be indicated as the cause on the death certificate,” Bowington added.
I am sad to relay that one of the greatest Hammer stars Barabara Shelley has passed away after a Covid battle. She would have been 89 next month. She made many classics including: The Gorgon (1964), Dracula, Prince of Darkness (1966), Rasputin (1966) & Quatermass & the Pit (1967) pic.twitter.com/8LGDmjmqhY
