Chepes (C). The launch of training in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases was reported at a press conference called by Director Lic. Paola Sosa and Head of the Sixth Health District, Dr. Omar Ibáñez.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Adrián Ríos, the General Coordinator; José Quevedo, a pharmacist from the capital, and a seminar team from CeDiTET (Centre for Diagnosis and Treatment of Infectious Diseases), accompanied by Lic. Carola Guzmán, Social Worker of Chepes Hospital .
Likewise, they report on the activities to be carried out in the Sixth Health District, which will target all professionals, doctors, nurses, health personnel, laboratories, etc., in all districts and health centers within the said district.
The three-day seminar focused on the necessary information for early detection, laboratory diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis B.
