The president of the National Pharmacy Association said in a statement to Renascença that there are more than 5,000 pharmacists capable of administering the vaccine. More than 2,400 people have registered for seasonal flu and Covid-19 vaccination events.
“The Association of Pharmacists has recently promoted the training of all pharmacists and updated the two vaccines, mainly related to the COVID-19 vaccine, which is the one that has evolved the most,” said Emma Paolino.
According to a portal published by La Repubblica on the third day, Farmácias will receive a subsidy of 2.5 euros for each vaccine for people over 60 years old.
