solo performances that lead the viewer through the decades that have made Italian and international cinema and music great.
An incredible journey that began among the melodies of the collective memory of generations, with the evocative power of 500 soundtracks, 70 million records sold worldwide, six nominations and two Oscars, three Grammys, four Golden Globes and a Golden Lion do Ennio Morricone – the giant of music of all time. Hence the idea of the symphony orchestra ensemble, the flagship of our country, to pay tribute to the Maestro.
The Ensemble approaches the music of Morricone after important national and international collaborations: Mario Biondi, Max Gazze, Franco Battiato, Giovanni Allevi, Renato Zero, Francesco Renga, Pooh, Baustel, PFM, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Nile Rodgers, Sam Smith, Louis Bakalov. With over six hundred concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Holland, France, Austria, Great Britain and Belgium, the orchestra shows great versatility and attention to all types of music, with a repertoire ranging from the most famous to soundtracks. world-famous films, from Frozen to Harry Potter.
In this tribute, the stage will alternate soloists, first parts of important Italian theaters and symphonic institutions such as the cello by Maestro Ferdinando Vietti and the trumpet by Maestro Stefano Benedetti. Special guests include soprano Anna Delfino, a favorite of the European opera audience, who will relive the emotions of Deborah’s Theme from Once Upon a Time in America, and Circle du Soleil violinist Attila Simon, who will perform the Love Affair solo.
The actor Andrea Bartolomeo, actor, director and theater teacher can accompany the audience by voicing characters and productions. Since 1998, the Nucleo Theater has been participating in the most important international theater festivals in open areas and squares in Europe, South America and Asia. Since 2014 he has been working with director Alessandro Serra, with whom he has directed the award-winning play MACBETTU on tour across three continents since 2016 and The Cherry Orchard show on international tour since 2019.
