Ironheart: The Marvel Series Gets A Disappointing Update

THAT Marvel Studios this year they have two more projects coming out, Loki season 2 AND Miracles. While some films have been delayed due to the SAG and WGA strikes, it doesn’t look like Marvel will change these releases. However, it has just been announced that the spin-off Hawkeye, Echo, it will move from November to January 2024, with the rest of the schedule in question. Many of the MCU’s upcoming projects have been pushed back, according to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter. The report says so too. Iron heart was delayed until 2024, but the series never received an official release date.

THR writer Boris Keith says Ironheart “was supposed to come out in the fall, but now it’s no longer on the schedule.” Filming for Ironheart has wrapped, according to the post, but the end of the show has been delayed due to strikes. It looks like Keith is moving away from the release schedule first announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year. However, almost none of these dates have survived. For example, Blade’s release was listed in November but was delayed shortly after the announcement.

As for Ironheart, the release date of the series remains in doubt, but given that filming has already wrapped, it is likely that fans will see the series in 2024.

Who is in Ironheart?

Dominck Tron back to interpret Riri Williams/Ironheartrole in which he debuted last year in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Thorne will join Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, Manny Montana, Shakira Barrera, Shea Cooley, Angie White, Regan Alia, Zoe Terakes, Cree Summer AND Paul Calderon. Nothing more is known about the plot of the series, but there are rumors that Sacha Baron Cohen will appear in Ironheart as an iconic Marvel villain, Mephisto.

“I can’t imagine not taking the time to dive in,” Thorne told Teen Vogue earlier this year when asked to read Ironheart comics. “But at the same time… there is nothing to explore. There is nothing to know. Either you feel it or you don’t. Sometimes this is where the magic happens. But when you know what the “rules” are, they are easier to break. If I had to play someone who drowns, I’d like to be the best swimmer here.”

The actress added, “I am very, very, very grateful for this journey that Ironheart gave me, because it is the only reason why now, after my first step into the MCU, I feel like I am not afraid of anything in the MCU. MCU more. My career is the same as before.”
