Putin also emphasized the stability of Russia’s position regarding the Israeli-Palestinian solution. He said: “Russia calls for unifying the efforts of the international community to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”
Chinese President Xi Jinping
For his part, Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that civilians in Palestine must be protected and humanitarian corridors must be provided. The Chinese president also called for an “international peace conference” to resolve the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Jinping also called for a ceasefire in Gaza and the achievement of lasting peace and security, stressing that without a “just solution” to the Palestinian issue there will be no lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
He added that all parties to the conflict should immediately cease fire and hostilities, stop all acts of violence and attacks against civilians, and release civilian detainees to avoid further loss of life and suffering.

Ramaphosa said at the start of the meeting: “Israel’s actions constitute a violation of international law, including the United Nations Charter and the Geneva Convention and all its protocols.”
