Jackass: The Game is a video game based on the television series Jackass. It was developed under license from Sidhe for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. The Nintendo DS version of the game was developed by Sensory Sweep Studios in. The entire Jackass cast (except Bam Margera, who does not appear in the game due to contractual commitments to Activision) and crew provided their own voices and provided their visuals for the game, according to Sidhe Interactive. The game uses motion capture to replicate the cast’s movements. However, Ryan Dunn did not participate in the motion capture filming due to being diagnosed with depression due to a blood clot. However, he does voice his character in the game. Johnny Knoxville and other members of the Jackass team also provided stunt ideas to the developer based on unused stunts from the show.
