The new PlayStation 5 exclusive from newly created Haven Studios, led by Jade Raymond, is likely to have multiplayer or live service elements.
Information about this was found out from the vacancies of Haven Studios posted on LinkedIn.
The studio is currently looking for a senior software engineer with experience in networking, multiplayer, and marketing. The team also requires a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer and an Online Software Engineer with experience in cloud platforms.
The vacancies suggest that the project is still in its earliest stages of development, possibly in pre-production, which is not surprising since the studio opening became known only three months ago.
Jade Raymond is best known for producing Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Prior to founding Haven Studios, she ran Stadia Games and Entertainment, which planned to create exclusives for the Stadia cloud service, but left Google in February after the company announced it was closing in-house studios to create games for the streaming platform.
