Robert Pattinson is Batman, isn’t he? Well, not in James Gunn’s DC Universe. In fact, now that the Batfleck is out the door, we don’t really know who Batman is in the main DC live-action universe, since Michael Keaton has appeared and (edited) it’s not exactly confirmed that either of them are. Will be together to play the role for the upcoming film Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
However, one actor who will want to step into the iconic hood and cape is Soldier Boy himself, Jensen Ackles, who, speaking with Deadline at the Jus in Bello convention in Italy, said: “I mean, can I do it? Sure. Will I do it? Yes.”
However, when Ackles was interviewed with The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal, he teased the Chilean-American star by saying: “Will I be mad when Pedro Pascal gets this? Yeah. God bless you, Pedro. You keep killing it, man. Let me know when you do.”
Ackles, who has voiced the DC character in several animated projects over the years, clarified that Batman is his “favorite superhero of all time” is that “he would” if was given the opportunity to bring his role on The Dark Knight to the big screen.
