Jhay Cortez joined Skrillex and now presents a new single and video “En Mi Cuarto”. The audiovisual material has the participation of Mia Khalifa.
Directed by Stillz, the video starring Mia Khalifa is a visual spectacle featuring mind-blowing shots of Cortez.
The performer is seen on a motorcycle and partying in the back of a speeding truck. All of this ends in a destructive climax.
“En Mi Cuarto” is Jhay Cortez’s last musical proposal, after his previous single “Christian Dior” and his double victory at Premios Juventud. Those awards came for his collaboration with Bad Bunny “Dákiti”, which won both the Viral Theme of the Year and the Song of the Year.
The collaboration, which ranks #1 on the Hot Latin Song chart, became the most important song in the world. It peaked at number #1 on billboard’s Hot 100, Spotify Top 200 and Apple Music General charts.
Along with these awards, Jhay Cortez currently has five songs on Spotify’s 200 Global chart with the hits “Dákiti” (#38), “Fiel – Remix” (#44), “911” (#51), “Fiel” (#69), and “512” (#82).
The single also comes after the announcement of their “Timelezz Tour” in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The three consecutive concerts broke a record in ticket sales at Puerto Rico’s iconic Coliseum. This scenario is recognized as the most important of the urban genre in the region.
