Even with five children at home, Chip and Joanna Gaines still find time to spend an evening every now and then. Of course, they simply couldn’t resist attending a Pearl Jam concert and planned their performance accordingly. Chip and Joe headed to Austin, Texas to see Pearl Jam perform at the Moody Center on Tuesday night. Irish rock band INHALER opened the show as the opening act.
Joanna was candid with her Instagram followers, sharing a photo of the aftermath of the concert. She shared a video clip of herself headbanging on the show, which explains a lot. “Still imagining my inner alternative, angsty teenager from last night’s @pearljam concert. I’ll just accept this look for a while 🤘🏼✌🏼,” Gayned wrote on Instagram.

Jo also posted several videos of her younger sister Mikey McCall and her husband David McCall joining them at the concert. Joanna wore a simple black tank top and blue jeans for the event. We’d say Chip handled this surprise date pretty well!
