Warriors owner and CEO Joe Lacob always has one thing on his mind: winning.

Dynasties are great, but Lacob clearly wants to see the Warriors trio surpass James and join the list of winningest players in NBA history. Currently, Curry, Thompson, Green and James each have four championships, ranking behind Kobe Bryant (5), Tim Duncan (5), Magic Johnson (5), Scottie After Pippen (6), Michael Jordan (6) and Kareem Abdul – the all-time list includes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6), Robert Horry (7), Sam Jones (10) ) and Bill Russell (11).
Last season, James and the Lakers defeated the Warriors in the NBA playoffs. But with the addition of many veterans in the offseason, the Warriors’ young players are also ready to move to the next level. Lacob is as confident as ever that Golden State can compete for the championship again in the 2023-24 season.
“One of the things you need to understand if you’re a team owner is you have to give hope to your fans, and I’m one of them,” Lacob told Hill and Shasky. “We have to generate hope. Otherwise, it’s all meaningless.”
