In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, singer John Legend opened up about the joy and positive energy his children Luna, Miles, Esty and Ren bring to his life. Legend expressed gratitude to his two youngest children, Esty and Ren, noting that they don’t care, which makes him feel happy and lucky to keep them a part of his family.
Legend and Teigen’s journey as fathers began in April 2016 with the birth of Luna. Two years later, in May 2018, he joined the Miles family. Sadly, they suffered a painful loss in September 2020 when their son Jack had an abortion.
This year, a daughter, Esti, and a little boy, Ren, were born into the family. Legend shared the news of his birth with his fans at a private concert, calling it a “good day.”
Legend also shared relevant stories from the lives of his mayoral sons. Luna is in second grade and has recently started doing something that Legend likes to supervise. Remember your student experience and look forward to reliving it with Luna and Miles.
As for the babies, they have recently begun to move away, and Ren has been sitting for four months and sleeps a lot. Legend and Teigen love their six-member family and cherish every time their children meet.
