John Legend’s mini daughter Esty just reached a milestone in her baby girl development!

This week, Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen posted the most adorable photos of their 9-month-old baby. In the 10-photo slideshow (which begins with a video of Teigen with his five-year-old son Miles), we see that in the second and final photo the baby’s bottom teeth are starting to grow. Esty holds the toy up to the camera and smiles as two baby teeth begin to show on her lower gums. There’s also a close-up of Esty’s new teeth. Charming, much?

Teigen also showed us a photo of her pushing Esty in a stroller before she sat down on the grass with the little girl.

In the post, we also see Legend and Teigen’s eldest daughter, 7-year-old Luna, holding her 4-month-old brother, Ren. We then see a cute close-up of Ren giggling, followed by another heartwarming photo of Luna playing with a stuffed toy.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen talk about growing their family

In a February speech at The Jennifer Hudson ShowLegend opened up about how he and Teigen have to raise their family. “A lot of people go through this and they go through it in silence or they go through it feeling like they’re the only one going through it,” Legend said. “And I think Chrissy and I talking about it has helped people feel better about this journey.”

Teigen gave birth to baby Esty in January 2023, and she and Legend celebrated by announcing the news to fans via Instagram. They both posted the same touching photo of Luna and Miles hugging Esty and looking at her lovingly.

“We welcomed Estee Maxine Stevens into our family on Friday and our home is filled with love and joy. I admire Chrissy’s strength and resilience and am thrilled to see Luna and Miles embrace their little sister. I’m so, so grateful, but I don’t think that’s a strong enough word…” Legend captioned his post.

“She’s here! Estee Maxine Stevens – the house is bustling and our family couldn’t be happier 💕 Daddy sheds tears of joy every night seeing Luna and Miles full of love and I find out you still need conditioner diapers!? We’re in bliss “Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we all feel it! X,” Teigen wrote.

Then, to the surprise of fans, the family welcomed Ren Alexander through a surrogate this June. In an emotional Instagram post, Teigen explained that the baby was named after Alexandra’s surrogate mother.

“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you gave us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world that he is here and his name is forever associated with you. Wren Alexander Stevens. Our hearts and our home are officially full,” Teigen wrote.
