In theaters comes ‘John Wick 4’, the fourth film of the homonymous successful action film saga focused on the professional killer played by Keanu Reeves. John Wick finds a way to defeat the Grand Table. But before gaining his freedom, Wick must face a new enemy who has powerful alliances around the world and has the means to turn old friends into new enemies.

Also new arrival is ‘Armageddon Time’, directed by James Gray: a coming-of-age story set in the mid-1980s in the borough of Queens, New York, and tells the story of two friends, Paul and Johnny (Banks Repeta and Jaylin Webb ), one white and Jewish and the other black. Racism is still rampant in the United States, which is why the two young men aspire to rise socially. Paul’s parents (Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong), however, decide to distance him from Johnny and send him to a prestigious school, attended only by whites. The boy admits that he doesn’t react and keeps quiet when his friend is insulted by their classmates for his complexion, but it will be his grandfather Aaron (Anthony Hopkins) who will teach him how not only a few decades earlier, Jews were also oppressed and expelled. It will be his grandfather’s words that will give him the courage to make his voice heard to defend those who are discriminated against.

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ remains on the bill, winner of 7 statuettes (best film, best director, best original screenplay, best leading actress, best supporting actor and actress and best editing). The film directed by The Daniels, tells the story of Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), a woman of Chinese origins who runs a small laundromat. Evelyn has to take care not only of her business, but also of her family: a dazed father (James Hong), a teenage daughter Joy (Stephanie Hsu), who no longer seems able to understand, and a marriage to Waymond (Ke Huy Quan ), a weak man who does not love. As if her busy life weren’t enough, Evelyn also receives a tax audit that leads her to run into Deirdre (Jamie Lee Curtis), a punctilious detective. While she has to deal with the agent, the woman witnesses a rift in the multiverse, which drags her into an adventure of parallel realities. Her task now is to defeat the enemy and save the fate of the universes, thus restoring harmony not only to the various dimensions, but also to her life and her family.

Lastly, Andrea Di Stefano’s ‘The Last Night of Love’ remains in programming. The police lieutenant, Franco Amore (Pierfrancesco Favino), just the evening before his retirement finds himself investigating a murder: his friend Dino, as well as his partner for several years, is killed in a diamond robbery. This is how Love’s last night will prove to be the longest of all.
