We talked in detail about the content of the John Wick 4 post credit scene, but thanks to the producer Erica Lee we have to go back to talking about the famous action saga with the protagonist Keanu Reeves putting the spotlight on the highly anticipated prequel series The Continental.

During a recent promotional interview with Collider, in fact, Erica Lee confirmed that The Continental will be released on Peacock in 2023more specifically during the month of September. Unfortunately, the producer did not mention an exact day, but thanks to her statement, the circle has been greatly reduced. We remind you that in Europe, and also in Italy, The Continental will be distributed by Prime Video, so if you are a fan of the John Wick saga, remember to keep your subscription to the platform active for the month of September.

Set against the backdrop of 1970s New York City, the mini-series will consist of a total of three episodeseach lasting 90 minutes. The Continental stars Colin Woodell as a young Winston (the character who in the films of John Wick is played by Ian McShane) and also stars Ayomide Adegun as a young Charon (played in the films by the late Lance Reddick).

The John Wick franchise, we remember, will continue coming soon with the new movie Dancerspin-off of John Wick 3 starring Ana de Armas which will also include the return of many well-known faces from the saga, from Angelina Houston to Keanu Reeves himself.
