Today, President Erdogan met with Azerbaijani President Aliyev at the hotel where he resides. The meeting was held closed to the press.

He stated that during the meeting, the two leaders discussed Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, regional and global issues, and Israeli-Palestinian conflicts. During the meeting, President Erdogan stated that Turkey’s humanitarian aid efforts will continue to grow, that the international community must send strong messages to ensure Israel acts in accordance with international law, and that lasting peace in the region can only be achieved through geographic wholeness. Before receiving Orban, Erdogan also held a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadr Japarov.
