Jordan condemns the Israeli bombing of its field hospital in Gaza… and awaits the results of the investigation

The Jordanian army announced in a statement released on Wednesday evening that seven members of the staff at the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza were injured while trying to treat Palestinian citizens injured during an Israeli shelling, as published by Agence France – Presses.

He explained that “the crew members’ injuries range from minor to stable,” stressing that “their colleagues are providing the necessary care to them and a number of Palestinian brothers.”

The Ministry said that Israel’s exposure of the hospital and its staff to danger during the bombing of our Palestinian brothers is an unacceptable and condemnable crime and represents a clear violation of international law.

The Jordanian government stressed that “the Israeli occupation forces have full responsibility for endangering the lives of Jordanian medical teams.”

In its statement, the Ministry revealed that the government is awaiting the results of the investigation initiated by the Armed Forces – the Arab Army to take necessary legal and political measures against this heinous crime.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi confirmed on Monday, in statements to the official channel “Al-Mamlaka”, that the Jordanian field hospital, installed in the northern Gaza Strip since 2009, “has treated more than four thousand cases since start of the operation.
