Joshua, 12, wants to be a quarterback like Tom Brady

Joshua, 12, always tries his best.

Joshua is a friendly and active boy who wants to meet Tom Brady and get his autograph, play in the NFL and live a happy life. His social worker described him as intelligent, charming and extremely curious. Joshua loves sports, especially football and basketball. The legendary Tom Brady is one of his role models, and he hopes to one day be a quarterback like him. Joshua joined the ski club this year and enjoyed the winter. He makes friends easily and does well in school, including participating in clubs outside of normal hours. His favorite classes in school are computers and physical education, and he enjoys reading the “Dogman” book series. He said that one sentence that represents him is “No matter whether you win or lose, never give up!”

Josh took the time to share an unforgettable incident from his life: “I remember when I was at the (town) football ground, I was on the field most of the time. I made three important tackles during the game and my name was The announcement was played on the speakers three times. I had a lot of fun because I played a lot!”

Josh also has “favorites” that he shares, including jaguars being his favorite animal because the Jacksonville Jaguars are his favorite animal; spring being his favorite season because it’s beautiful and warm; Justin Bieber is his favorite musical artist; cheese is his favorite pizza topping. Joshua also enjoys drawing and watching horror movies.

Joshua said he wanted a family with siblings and pets. He wanted them to be a sports-loving family and play football and basketball with him. Josh currently visits his birth parents five times a year and three times a year after placement. Visiting resources will also be considered, as Josh will benefit from building a relationship with the family before becoming an adoptive placement.
