Juan Valdez, the brand of Colombian coffee growers, announced his arrival in Argentina with its first store in the city of Buenos Aires.
“In a joint effort with our franchisee, the Reacsa group, we managed to capitalize on our entry into the Argentine market through the first Juan Valdez store in the country’s capital. We are proud to continue representing Colombia, taking the coffee tradition to more corners of the world”, commented Sebastián Mejía, International Vice President of Juan Valdez.
Additionally, the manager added that, “despite having a presence in the retail channel in this country, we were aware of the importance of opening our stores to reach more consumers, and now that we have achieved it, after so much work and dedication , we want to continue captivating Argentines with the best of our coffee”.
This important achievement strengthens the international presence of the brand and strengthens its plan to become the benchmark for 100% Colombian premium coffee in the world, it was indicated in a statement.
Argentina has a coffee consumption of 28,428 tons per year, according to Euromonitor. This country joins the brand’s strategic markets in Latin America, such as Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, among others, and represents an opportunity to continue offering the experience and quality of Colombian coffee.
The new Juan Valdez store is located in the Unicenter Shopping Center, Paraná 3745, Martínez, Buenos Aires, one of the most important shopping centers in Argentina. There, consumers will be able to enjoy a varied portfolio focused on espresso-based and filtered drinks, snowy drinks, fruppes, plus a mix of local and Colombian pastries. They will also have the opportunity to find packaged coffee from the premium line, the Sierra Nevada and Huila lines of origin, and some brand items such as mugs and thermoses, among other products that will be on sale.
With this opening, Juan Valdez reaffirms, once again, its commitment to the more than 540,000 coffee-growing families in the country, extolling their work and creating more opportunities to share their 100% Colombian premium coffee with the entire world.
