The Billboard Latin Music Awards will be broadcast live on Telemundo on Thursday, September 23, beginning at 7:00 pm / 6c.
Camila Cabello, who recently released “Don’t go Yet,” hits the Billboard Awards stage for the first time with a special performance. The multi-platinum global singer and songwriter tops the list of women who will be present at the awards and that includes Natti Natasha, finalist for “Hot Latin Songs” Artist of the Year, Female, and Ana Bárbara.
Prince Royce, who is a finalist for five awards, including Tropical Artist of the Year, Solo Artist, arrives on stage having just released his latest song “Lao ‘a Lao”; while Juanes will take a break from his “Origen” tour to sing at Premios Billboard.
Two-time finalist Christian Nodal joins the celebration after breaking the record for most No.1s among soloists in the history of Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
Reik and Rauw Alejandro, both finalists for two awards, join the list of singers after announcing the collaboration on “Loquita”.
Myke Towers, exponent of the urban genre and three times finalist, arrives in the middle of his first world tour to sing at the Billboard Awards; and Carlos Rivera does so after presenting his latest album Leyendas.
The show will kick off with “The Billboard Awards Carpet” – a one-hour special at 7:00 pm / 6c, followed by the three-hour awards ceremony.
The musical special will air simultaneously on the Hispanic entertainment cable channel Universo, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.
The awards will coincide with Billboard’s Latin Music Week, which returns to Miami on September 20-24, 2021 and will feature conversations and live performances with Karol G, Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, and many more.
