Julianne Moore showed off classy style on the red carpet at this year’s CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards.
On the red carpet at an event in Italy during Milan Fashion Week, Moore posed with husband Bart Freundlich wearing pointy Bottega Veneta mules. Her $1,100 Punta style featured a glossy burgundy leather upper with a curved closed toe and matching 4-inch heels.
The edgy set gets a modern twist thanks to the outsole, which has been covered in tread rubber for added texture and extra traction. The shoe’s foundation has become a hallmark of the brand under the creative direction of Mathieu Blasi, whose spring 2024 show Moore attended during Week Saturday.
Moore’s dynamic heels added a two-tone finish to her outfit, a deep orange silk dress with a slightly asymmetrical sleeveless neckline and a twisted bodice gathered into a knee-length hem. The textured piece is accented with polished gold metal detailing on the strap, adding an artistic touch.
The Still Alice star’s outfit was accessorized with a pair of small twisted gold hoop earrings and a $3,500 Bottega Veneta Knot clutch. Her oval-shaped design was covered in black leather strips woven in the brand’s signature “Intrecciato” technique for an explosive texture. The piece created a tonal, clean palette that complemented Moore’s outfit, balancing dark colors with a neutral base shade.
Milan Fashion Week officially starts on September 1st. 19 and will last until September. 25. The spring 2024 season includes a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a number of brands, including Fendi, Tom Ford, Versace, Gucci and more.
