It’s not for nothing that September is called our favorite fashion month. While magazines release their most anticipated edition of the year at the beginning of autumn, fashion week is taking place in every chic corner of the world. After New York and Milan, Paris Fashion Week continues. The Dior Summer Spring 2024 show was attended by global ambassadors and celebrities such as Robert Pattinson and Jisoo, who sat in style in FROW. We also rarely saw Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence at the event, whose outfit created a sensation with its understated chic.

Jennifer Lawrence at Paris Fashion Week

Jennifer Lawrence wore a white collared shirt with sleeves buttoned to the elbow and buttons left undone at the front. She paired it with a pair of high-waisted black pants and matching closed-toe heels. Jennifer accessorized with a silver wristwatch and gold hoop earrings. Her glam makeup consisted of bronze eyes, contoured cheeks and glossy brown lips. Her long, honey-colored locks were styled in large curls and swept to the side.

Also present at the same event was Hollywood actress Charlize Theron, who accidentally wore a similar silhouette. Charlize wore a beige beaded skirt with a black bottom and bodice underneath. Over it she wore a white shirt with cuffed sleeves and buttoned all the way in the front. She paired it with a black Dior clutch and sandals in the same shade.

We’ve always known that white shirts are one of the top fashion items for everyday wear. Whether worn under a jacket or in shorts, with sneakers or heels, it pairs well with almost all other items of clothing. So, seeing Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron rock their outfits at a celebrity bash was enough reassurance that this style imperative is here to stay.
Both Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron are all proof that you need to wear a white shirt this season.
