Yesterday, Wednesday June 7, a post appeared on the Twitter profile of Justin Bieber’s father, Jeremy – later deleted – in which one could read the phrase “This month, don’t forget to thank a straight man for your existence”. Referring to Pride Month, the message was immediately identified as racist by many, so much so that Jeremy published two other tweets that didn’t exactly appear to be genuine apologies: “We must celebrate families.” You know why we are all here! The things that this generation glorifies are wonderful!” and “Is it disrespectful to recognize the traditional family? I apologize to those who felt offended. This was not my intention. Not that my opinion matters.”

However, according to what a source told the “Daily Mail”, these statements would have greatly angered Justin Bieber, who would not be happy to be “dragged into this mess”, although he has yet to speak to his father about the incident. When contacted by the portal, a representative of the singer declined to comment on the story at present. “Justin hasn’t generated much controversy lately. He’s trying to keep a relatively low profile and be present for (wife Hailey Bieber) and their relationship and avoid getting caught up in drama,” the insider said, adding, “He’s been through a lot in life.” But unfortunately, her father has started a new drama and now Justin is involved in the mess. He is angry with his father for what he did, but he also knows that tomorrow people will talk about something else and it will pass (…). Justin has been in an on-and-off relationship with his father over the years, and that only makes it worse. Justin’s father knows he put Justin in a bad position, but Justin is trying to move on and hopes that his father will be forgiven.”
