Just two weeks after the release of his latest studio album titled Justice, Justin Bieber has published by surprise a new album with unreleased songs. The EP responds to the name of Freedom, whose theme focuses on the religion.
There are six themes included in this recording that the Canadian artist announced through his social networks with the message: “Freedom on all platforms”, whose photograph is precisely the cover of the album: the screenshot of a mobile in which you can see a notepad with the name of the material.
Freedom, a record about God
The songs, completely new, run through a calm and urban sound, between the gospel, hip hop, R&B and atmospheric pop. Most of the tracks are made up of collaborations with artists Brandon Love, Chandler Moor, Tori Kelly, Pink Sweats, Lauren Walters, BEAM and the Pastor Judah Smith.
While Justice is a love letter to his wife Hailey Baldwin, Freedom it is his way of professing love for his Christian religion. The pieces are about have faith and trust in God, in addition to addressing how he is the only one who can judge us.
It was on March 19 when the 27-year-old singer published Justice, the disk that in turn saw the light only one year after the previous Changes (2020), with which he obtained three nominations for the latest Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.
With this new release, the third in just over 12 months, the Canadian greatly intensifies its production rate in recent years, since did not edit anything in the five years that followed the success of Purpose (2015), time in which he was focused above all on his personal recovery.
