Kareena Kapoor shared photos from the sets of Hansal Mehta’s next film.

On Sunday, Kareena shared her next character with a bunch of new photos on her Instagram account. In one photo, she was seen looking out of a glass window, and in another, she was seen waiting at a table with a serious expression on her face. The picture also shows her on set with fog all over.

The actor wrote about his journey to play Jas Bhamra. She began: β€œJas has been a character I’ve been waiting for for the last 23 years, being a huge fan of the detective genre…watching everything from Karamchand to Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect, Agatha Christie in Hercule Poirot and Kate Winslet in Prime suspect.” Mare from Easttown, I was just dying to be that female detective. I started reading the 25-page synopsis given to me by Hansal and Ekta at 1 am and realized that I had found the woman I wanted to be…”

A bit of an unusual film

Kareena also revealed how she collaborated with director Hansal Mehta and producer Ektaa Kapoor to create an “unconventional film”. She wrote, “Ekta, Hansal and I went on this journey to make a slightly unconventional film, but a film with heart, a bit of a smile and oh my god, a lot of tears… It was screened at the British Film Institute last night and when this movie begins its journey… in the world of cinema… I’m very nervous and excited as an actor and aspiring producer… I feel so weird writing this (laughing face emoji)… but I feel really cool. ..”

The actor then added, β€œSo, giving you a glimpse into this gem we have created…into the world of Jas Bhamra. I really hope Jas is not done with her journey yet because it has been a dream to continue this wonderful yet powerful journey. a woman whose grief is immense, but greater than she knows.”

Kareena was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan, which released on Netflix on September 21.
