Kate gives a lesson on fall power dressing in a green pantsuit

The Princess of Wales firmly donned her autumn green suit and went on a tour of an ancient textile factory.

Kate visited the Yorkshire-based AW Hainsworth mill, whose royal history dates back to 1953, when fabrics made at the mill were on display during the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

The 41-year-old wore a wide-leg Burberry trouser suit with gold buttons and a crisp white blouse. She completed the look with a chunky gold chain and matching green velvet heels.

This isn’t the first time Kate has worn a Burberry number – we first saw it in March while meeting the Norwegian royal family at Windsor Castle. No wonder it can no longer be purchased online.

During the tour, where she got to learn about the textile manufacturing process, the mom-of-three wore her hair down with caramel highlights and wavy waves that were the perfect tone for the cooler season.

Luxury British fashion house Burberry presented its latest collection last week at London Fashion Week (LFW). It was creative director Daniel Lee’s second appearance at LFW, where celebrities including singer Kylie Minogue, Killing Eve star Jodie Comer and actress Rachel Weisz sat front row.

With modern takes on the classic trench coat and chic patterned shirts taking over the runway, it won’t be long before we see Kate in new Burberry designs.

However, Kate has experience wearing chic pantsuits.

Earlier this month, while visiting the Royal Naval Air Station in Somerset, she wore a double-breasted jacket from Holland Cooper and matching ankle-grazing trousers with chunky gold buttons.

Back in May, she chose a soft pink Alexander McQueen suit for a visit to the Foundling Museum, pairing a pearl belt with pumps.

In Boston in December 2022, she wore a burgundy Roland Mouret suit, paired with a bow shirt and Chanel bag, which was seen on multiple occasions.

She proved that a crisp white suit can be casual at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games when she opted for an Alexander McQueen suit to watch the swim at Sandwell Aquatics Centre.

And while visiting the Magee University campus in Londonderry, Northern Ireland in 2021, Kate wore a fitted purple Emilia Wickstead trouser suit over a turtleneck jumper.
