James Middleton opened up about how his nine dogs helped him out of his darkest days …
James Middleton will present a new documentary about how his dogs saved him from depression.
The brother of Kate Middleton, 32, opened up about the mental health problems he had, and will now appear in a new program called ‘James Middleton’s Super Dogs’, in which he will work with producer Fulwell 73.
A source told Bizarre TV column of The Sun newspaper: “Mental health is a topic very close to the heart of James and his sister, and he is grateful to his dogs for helping him out of his darkest days. The program will continue talking to others who are suffering and observe how a dog can affect his mood and depression. ”
James has nine dogs and previously opened up on how they helped him move on.
“My own dogs played a vital role in my recovery from clinical depression. In view of this, I want to celebrate the important role that dogs play in our lives and the unconditional love and support they give us. ”
James had previously said he felt ‘guilty’ for being depressed because he didn’t think he had the right to feel that way when he was raised by a wealthy family.
He said at the time: “[Depression is] what keeps you in bed, while anxiety makes you feel guilty for being there. I thought ‘What do I have to be depressed from?’ I was so lucky with my education, I had all the things I wanted. Not that I wanted more, but there was something that wasn’t always there … And the more I ignored it, the more it cost me.”
