KennyHoopla and Travis Barker keep the pop punk fires alive

They are twenty one years apart and belong to two different generations. However, one thing unites the 26-year-old American singer-songwriter and the 47-year-old Blink-182 naturist: a passion for pop punk. The duo of KennyHupala and Travis Barker keep the holy fire of this genre alive. And with the ep “Blink and You’ll Miss It” he conquers the playlist “I Wanna Rock”, which collects the most important releases of the genre and which photographs the contemporary rock generation, looking back with respect to the greats of the past while searching for the voices and heroes of today.

There was something more important at stake besides the single, as the duo had already hinted at the release of “Sabotage”, the song that reunited KennyHoopla and Travis Barker two years after the release of “Survivor’s Guilt: The Mixtape”. The new joint project of the two musicians has finally been unveiled: the newly released EP includes three songs created to celebrate the start of the Blink-182 tour, which will feature KennyHupala himself as a guest on some dates.

“Sabotage”, “Mary Kill F*ck” and “T Shirt” are three raw pieces in pure pop punk style. The energy the two create together in the studio flows into their interpretations, which make the episode irresistible from the first listen itself. Andrew Goldstein also contributed to the working of the songs, which were already hits for Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, 5 Seconds of Summer and All Time Low.
