Kevin Durant puts himself in the same position as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant

Anyone can agree that Kevin Durant is one of the best scorers the league has ever seen. But when the topic comes to legends like Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant, fans are divided into two factions, with the majority opposing Durant. After years of online debate, the Phoenix Suns superstar decided to set the record straight in an interview with his company, “Board Room”.

Durant believes he has proven himself in some of the toughest situations, just like the legends above. The two-time champion shared, “I feel like I’ve accomplished something on the court and experienced the greatest things.So I feel like I could talk basketball with Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant or LeBron James

, not bragging about how much we’ve done, but like what are you seeing out there, am I seeing the same thing? “I feel like I can have these conversations with the greatest player of all time.” Hopefully this will put an end to all the arguments on Twitter. Or will it grow more?

For one thing, Durant doesn’t understand the correlation behind the GOAT list. The 2014 MVP award is subjective and could be anyone. He named names like Paul George and Tracy McGrady who didn’t receive many accolades but were some influential role models to many. KD basically questioned the GOAT’s qualifications for the conversation.

Well, he did that on Twitter, too. In fact, he’s been doing this for years, replying to unknown users and fans on the app.

For the modern football fan, glory alone is not enough. KD has won every award in his basketball career, including an Olympic gold medal. But they won’t put him on the great list because of his controversial decision to join the Golden State Warriors. Despite winning two huge titles there, fans always questioned him for joining a team with a deep roster.

Fans often demand that Durant win a championship outside of the Warriors to put him on their “GOAT” list. KD replied: “Why shouldn’t I be involved? That’s the question you should be asking. Why not? What haven’t I done?” He reached the conference finals with the injured Brooklyn Nets and reached the conference semifinals in his first season with the Phoenix Suns. Well, Phoenix’s new additions look great this season.
