Kevin spacey said in an interview with ZEITmagazin that he is optimistic about his possible return to the screen after his new trial in London ends.
In fact, the actor knows that there are people who want to work with him and is confident that he will be able to resume his career. He says:
This is a time when many people are very afraid that if they support me, they will be removed.
Recall that the actor will appear in court on June 28 in London on charges of twelve counts of harassment and sexual harassment. Charges brought by four men for events that took place between 2001 and 2013.
Spacey adds that he hopes this process will end the same way as the trial of Anthony Rapp, who also accused him of sexual harassment. The actor was declared “insane” in a $40 million civil trial. He says about it:
In the moment of scrutiny, these things fall apart. So it was at the trial of Rapp, so it will be in this trial.
Spacey concludes by talking about his legacy:
In ten years it won’t mean anything. My work will outlive me and that is what will be remembered.
