Khloe Kardashian shared news about her skin cancer scar

Before she was diagnosed with melanoma, Kardashian The star initially suspected that the small bump on her face was a pimple. After several months of not moving, she decided to have a biopsy.

After her dermatologist Dr. Tess Mauricio and Dr. Daniel Behrouzan discovered it was a tumor, she visited her surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher, “a dear friend of the (Kardashian) family and one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills,” to have the melanoma removed.

After her entire ordeal, the Kardashian family stressed the importance of getting your skin checked.

“I never imagined that this tiny spot would turn into skin cancer and I can’t understand what might have happened if I hadn’t gone to the doctor to have it examined.

“Don’t ever feel embarrassed, like you’re making a big deal out of nothing, or like you’re being paranoid. There is no such thing as being overly cautious.”

“By sharing the facts about the dangers of unprotected sun exposure and encouraging people to check their skin for warning signs, I encourage everyone to see their dermatologist and get tested for skin cancer annually (or more often, like I did),” she concluded.
