In response to the September post, Williams commented: “It’s not at all about how you hold the racket. Apparently I have to teach you a lesson lol.”

Kardashian was shown screenshots of Williams’ comments during a recent “Actually Me” video interview with GQ. In the GQ video, Kardashian emphasized that she was just walking on the tennis court and was out of bounds.

“First, I was walking to the other side. Is there a special way that you have to hold the racket to go from one side to the other? That’s when I was out of bounds, too,” Kardashian said.

Following the clarification, Kardashian said she would love to take tennis lessons from Williams and called the tennis legend her “GOAT”

“But I’m waiting and I’d love to learn from the GOAT,” Kardashian said.

It’s worth noting that Kardashian and Williams have long been friends. The 43-year-old also attended Williams’ wedding to Alexis Ohanian.

Williams’ tennis lessons for daughter Olympia

Williams became the coach of her 6-year-old daughter, Olympia. The tennis legend hopes her daughter can learn the game and possibly make her mark like she did. However, Olympia hasn’t shown much interest in tennis, which Williams revealed during a face-to-face interaction with Norah O’Donnell on CBS News in March.

“It’s a little disappointing to me, but she’s actually really good at it. So we’re trying to find a way to let her shine a little bit,” People magazine quoted Williams as saying.
