This week marks two months since the launch of “Change the step”, the first unreleased song so far in 2021 by Jennifer López, which only in its first week of being known to the public had reached millions of reproductions and downloads.
As a result of the collaboration between Jennifer López and the celebrated Puerto Rican musician Rauw Alejandro, “the video for“ Cambia el paso ”was premiered on MTV and the YouTube channel of the singer known worldwide as JLo, who shows her facet as a performer and dancer.
Taking as scenes the nightlife and the beaches of Miami, in the video directed by the Dominican creator Jessy Terrero, JLo wastes sensuality, having very significant moments for our country when he shows in his hands a bottle of Don Ramón tequila, which highlights the international significance of this production house.
The very striking choreography of “Cambia el paso” is the authorship of Jennifer and Rauw, who in suggestive language mark the route to always keep going.
Jessy Terrero, who has made videos for Maluma, Ricky Martin, Wisin & Yandel, Enrique Iglesias, knows how to show JLo’s impressive beauty in all its splendor, in street scenes in a defiant attitude, wrapped in the twilight light or well wrapped in the foam of the sea.
With video you contain scenes where allegorical references to the crystalline “Don Ramón” are recurrent, like when he sings: “She lives life like a tango… but now she wants fire between her lips”. It should be said that the “Don Ramón” house has been in the market for more than two decades producing an artisanal tequila, being well known in the North American market.
JLo’s fans on social networks have celebrated this pairing with “Don Ramón” saying that “an original flavor goes well with an original singer”.
For his part, Rauw, who in the video shows her high quality for dance, has expressed being “super happy to have the opportunity to collaborate with her. Imagine, JLo is the crush of 98 percent of all men on planet Earth! I can say that I was lucky. It is an honor for me to work with JLo ”.
He also recalled that he is “a super fan of Jlo, I saw her all my life, in movies, in awards, in songs, it was like a dream to work with her and thank God I was given the opportunity. A lot of good vibes, the Latin culture and ‘Cambia el paso’ is already on the street and breaking it ”.
