I’ve long felt that simply strapping a GoPro to your forehead and just walking around would make a great unscripted series. There is untapped potential for some kind of streaming series or documentary about this place.

Gaga on the globe
Lady Gaga made an unforgettable raid on U2 performance on Saturday night.
The Dolby Live headliner is shown singing “Beautiful Day” in the VIP section of a video filmed at the show. It wasn’t the gorgeously dressed Jazz + Piano star walking in to attract attention. Gaga appeared in a gray flannel shirt, black shirt and shorts.
Bono reportedly shouted at the Dolby Live headliner from the stage during the show’s acoustic performance, reportedly shouting, “I better sing these notes right, Lady Gaga is in the house tonight.”
She wasn’t alone. LG, as the team calls it, led the parade of celebrities on Saturday’s show. Confirmed guest list: Eddie Vedder Brad Pitt, Tom Brady, George Clooney, Rande Gerber, Dan Reynolds, And Adam Levine With Behati Prinsloo.
We also noticed the actors Richard Kind and sports broadcaster Joe Buck in the videos of this eclectically populated room.
Gaga joined U2 previously on stage at Madison Square Garden in July 2015 during the Nelson Mandela tribute “Ordinary Love”. The recording superstar and actor just released “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” the new single from the album. Rolling StonesHackney Diamonds album two, 20 October.

On Friday, Gaga went to Katy Perry “Play” show at Resorts World Theater. Representatives from AEG Presents confirmed that she was there. As of this writing, no artist has posted or commented on their visit.
But a video on social media shows Gaga sitting next to her tech entrepreneur boyfriend. Michael Polanski, in the theater during a performance. Gaga’s team sat in the VIP section (usually and obviously). They all left after the fourth act of the five-act production.

Gaga just wrapped her latest release, Jazz + Piano. We expect her to return in the spring. Perry has seven performances remaining in her wonderfully inventive production of Play, which ends on November 4th.
Perry plans to release a new album and world tour in ’24, but said on Saturday: “Of course I want to release ‘KP6’ and do other things and do a world tour, and I’m so excited for that day to come.” but now I’m so grateful and so present for these last seven shows.”

“Postcard” attracts celebrities
Oprah Winfrey made her second (as far as we know) trip to the Sphere on Friday for the premiere of “Postcards from Earth.” Pitt, “Better Call Saul” actor Rhea Seehornsupermodel Hilary Rhodafilm director Ava DuVernay (“Middle of Nowhere,” “Selma”) and co-stars from “Orange is the New Black” Natasha Lyonne they were all in the house.
Difficult to view view
You may (or may not) remember my May column warning about low-view areas in The Circle. The view of the approximately 800 seats at the top of Section 100, the lowest section after the general entrance, is partially obscured by Section 200 above.
This applies to seats above the 18th row. The lower seats have good visibility, as do the 200, 300 and GA models. Overhang above 100 interferes with viewing of videos displayed above and behind this section. The group’s opinion is clear.
But these are premium seats starting at $1,000 apiece (for limited-view seats) on the secondary market. One ticket holder for Saturday’s show reports paying $4,700 for two tickets only to find out there was a problem on the day of the show.
This man and about 50 other ticket holders ended up at the customer service desk with the same complaint. The offer was reportedly for a pair of tickets for the GA, a standing section that won’t do if you’re having knee surgery in two months (like this man).
This particular example is still being sorted out. But know this: if you’re looking for barrier-free tickets in section 100, look for rows 1 through 18. And thank me later.
Nick of time
Bronx Wanderers came to Las Vegas five years ago as a family rock ‘n’ roll band and remain so under the leadership of the patriarch Vinnie Adinolfi and a reliably energetic showman Vincent John.
But BW lost one member, a drummer. Nick Adinolfi in the resurgence of the pandemic. Nick has spent the last two years with his family in faraway New Jersey. Mike “Beans” Benigno Since then I have been filling it out skillfully.
But Nick returns to performing at the South Point Showroom this week, with shows running from 6:30pm Tuesday to Thursday. He is said to be back to work “full-time”, flying to Vegas for shows at South Point and also joining the band on tour. Look out for new songs in the set list.
As Vincent John says, Nick turns “fun” into “dysfunctional.” And Vincent knows what he’s talking about.
