Lakers already complaining about lack of fall call-up for LeBron James

Less than 10 games into the NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers have already filed a complaint with Commissioner Adam Silver’s office, claiming the team did not call a foul.However, this reportedly has nothing to do with the team as a whole, but rather LeBron James. Of course, this kind of behavior is not unusual for the team, but doing it this early in the season is a bit concerning.

As the video above shows, some of these missed calls are questionable, but not inherently serious.Of course, they think James should get the call based on his performance position in associationBut complaining to the commissioner’s office early in the season could be seen as grasping at straws.

On the surface, this feels like nothing more than where James and the Lakers are positioned for the long term this season. Let the league and referees be aware of our problems as early as possible so we don’t have to worry about it in the future. This is a common approach for organizations in playoff series, but taking this step in early November seems a bit radical.

When you look closely at the numbers, you’ll see that Los Angeles, as a team, averages 24.6 free throws per game, ranking in the top six in the NBA. LeBron is second on the team, averaging just under six free throws per game (5.7). Anthony Davis is first with just over six points. Compared to other players in the league, James ranks 23rd in the charity stripe.

Even if there is evidence LeBron and the Lakers Maybe it makes sense, but it doesn’t change the fact that they’ve only played seven games. It looks almost desperate, like the season hangs in the balance with over 70 games left on the schedule. Los Angeles’ next game on Wednesday night against the Rockets will be interesting. It wouldn’t be shocking to see James line up 10 times tonight. This is similar to teams firing their head coaches and looking for someone on the other end to replace them. The NBA will likely take this approach in Houston to appease the King.
